At the heart of Studio Libris are my deep love for books—their stories as well as their history—and my dedication to preserving them. The founder of the studio, my name is Naomi, and it is this passion that drives everything I do.

After growing up in France and studying biotechnology in Switzerland, I moved to Israel to pursue doctoral studies in neuroscience. Today, I apply that same scientific precision and analytical rigor to the art of book restoration—ensuring that rare and precious volumes are preserved to archival standards.

I trained in the book arts through hundreds of hours of intensive hands-on practice under private mentorship. Guided by a desire to master this traditional craft, I continuously refine my practice through specialized courses and ongoing consultation with leading international artisans.

My approach always prioritizes minimal intervention: restoring your volume while keeping its original character intact. When the materials are beyond repair, or when a custom creation is desired, I craft new covers made with archival-quality materials and uncompromising care.
