When Ola came to us and asked if it was possible to save her book, we could not refuse. She had brought it with her from Uzbekistan when she fled with her family. Unfortunately her mom passed away when she was still a child, and this book is almost her only souvenir from her. It was a huge privilege to be able to restore it so that she could keep on read it, and hopefully, also to her children in the future.
Uzbek Childhood Memory
A family Siddur
Like most well-loved Siddurim, this prayer book is used every Friday night and was beginning to show significant wear. Fortunately, we were able to preserve most of the original cover design, re-binding it in a durable new cloth hard cover so it can endure many more family Shabbat dinner.
A Vintage Winnie the Pooh
Before
For how long as Oded can remember himself, he always had this book Winnie the Pooh in Hebrew. In order to preserve his childhood memory, the book needed a new cover as the old spine and boards were worn out, but we kept the vintage design of course.

A Swedish Children Favorite
Elin’s children really love this Swedish book, so much so that a few pages had to be taped back and the spine also fell apart. Elin did a great job at taping the loose pieces together but only re-sewing could give this heavy book its strength back. It will now be able to endure some flipping through for at least a few more years.
